GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION FOR MALTESE CITIZENSHIP
Document Screening

Purchase of Property
Our team will help you look for property that matches the government requirement for real estate. The application will be submitted as soon as the property is purchased and all documents are signed. In addition, submission of health insurance for the applicant and dependent(s) and application fees is necessary.
Biometric Data
As soon as the government screen and approve your application, you will be required to travel to Malta for biometrics. After that, you would get a residential card in a few weeks and then maintain this residency permit for 36 months. After this period, you can apply for citizenship.
Submission of Citizenship Application
The citizenship application is submitted to the government agency in charge. First, the applicant would be needed to pay the government fees. Then, the government would do the applicant’s background investigation. This process will take 6 months before the final approval.
Payment of Contribution
Applicants must pay the remaining part of the contribution in 25 days after the final government approval.
Proof of Property Purchase and Medical Coverage
The property purchase agreement and medical coverage proof must be shown within 4
months of approval. Also, the property purchase capital gets transferred, and taxes settled.
Oath of Allegiance and Certificate of Naturalisation
At this point, the applicant with the family-inclusive must travel to Malta to swear an oath of allegiance and get the naturalization certificate. A biometric passport will be given after our professional fee is settled.
Note: Approval of Maltese residency permit is the sole decision of the Maltese
Government. However, the application may be turned down based on the following reasons; if it is discovered that the details on the application or documents presented are false, if the applicant is associated with a body or event that would tarnish the image of Malta, engaged or investigated for a criminal offense.

Legal Groundwork
Citizens of good conduct, alongside their families, maybe approved for Malta
Citizenship based on the amendment passed in November 2013 to the Maltese
Citizenship Act, Chapter 188 of the Laws of Malta. In addition, applicants must show proof of 1-year residence in the country, contribution to the economic development of Malta, and proof of residential property in the country.
